C60フラーレンの異性体（1812個）に対応する離散ソボレフ不等式の最良定数を求めました。本論文では，各辺に線形バネを備えたこれら異性体の古典的な機械モデルを研究対象としており，得られた最良定数はこれらのモデルの剛性を表しています。また，1812個の異性体の最良定数は有理数であり，これらの中で，バッキーボール（または切頂二十面体）の最良定数が最小であることが示されました。すなわち，バッキーボールは1812個のC60フラーレン異性体の中で最も硬いものであることが，離散ソボレフ不等式の最良定数から証明されました。
