Research Request Themes
- Novel pahased array antennas, Phased array antennas with half of the elements are driven without characteristics degradation. Printed antennas with a built-in balun manufactured by printing technology. A arge antenna aperture that can be folded multiply without characteristics degradation due to panel steps., Let use agile phased array antennas in many applications.
- Study on monitoring of earthquake and volcanic activity by microaves, The microwave emission phenomenon has been found in Japan. We apply the phenomenon to monitoring of earthquake and volcanic activity. Namely, we realize monitoring system by assembling microwave receivers, antennas, and communication systems. On the other hand, remote sensing satellite with radio meters on board measures microwave in the scale of a brightness temperature. We develop technology to analyze the data to extract the above-mentioned microwave signature., Let us apply the newly found phenomenon of microwave emission due to rock fracture to the mitigation of natural disaster of earthquake and volcano. We want to help seismologists and volcanologists.
